A central location perfect for exploring St Ives and the surrounding area, right next to the lovely beaches, shops, restaurants, art galleries and of course The Tate.
The ‘Fisherman’s Quarter’ is a picturesque conservation area with a maze of granite and slate houses and cottages, narrow winding streets and alleyways, all leading to either the lovely beaches or the working harbour. Porthmeor beach is a haven for surfers with golden sand and crystal water or Porthgwidden is a smaller bathing beach where seals and dolphins are seen regularly.
The Tate Gallery is a 3 minute walk from the cottage and so too is the Barbara Hepworth Museum.
There is a public car park 50 yards from the cottage where you may park – although a car is not necessary as St Ives has a main railway line and good public transport.
